Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good week! Guys!! I cannot believe it is November already!! Where is time going!? So not ready for Thanksgiving, let alone Christmas lol. Anyway, let’s get to business! Recently I bought the new Morphe 35O 2 Second Nature palette; if you know me, you know I am a huge Morphe fan, and so I couldn’t resist and got my hands on this bad boy. Today’s post will be a review of the palette, and I also created a little look using it–pictures and video will be included at the end.
Let’s jump right in!
Morphe 35O2 Second Nature Palette
It has 35 shades. Pigment wise, it is amazing on almost all the shades, some are not as pigmented. Also, they are very bendable and feel so creamy. Pricing wise, you can’t go wrong, $23 and if you use one of the YouTubers’ code on the Morphe website you get a discount which is great. There is a great variety of shades; my favorites are all the oranges because they are absolutely beautiful. Some of the shades are somewhat similar to the 35O, but once you swatch and try the shades from the new palette, you can see they are actually very different.
I think the orange shades on this palette are a lot more va va voom! These shades pop like nothing I’ve seen before. Normally I tend to shy away from those colors because well, I’m not a makeup artist and not great at applying eyeshadow lol, but these were just calling my name lol. Saying that I am in love with them it’s an understatement lol.
Shimmers are very pigmented also. I used two of the shimmers in the look I created, adding a bit of fix plus to get more pigment out of them, but I’m sure not using any wouldn’t be a problem, the pigment is definitely there, as you’ll see on the swatches.
Let’s take a look at the swatches. Some of the mattes were a little patchy, but nothing too bad. You be the judge! Oh and just for the record, swatching is not my strong suit, but I tried lol!
Morphe 35O and Morphe 35O2 Next to Each Other
Looking at these side by side, you really see that they are very different, but yet similar. I also think that the 35O definitely has more of a cool grey tones whereas the 35O 2 looks warmer, the shades are brighter.
Although the palette has some shades that are not as pigmented, it is still an amazing product. And yes, there is some fall out, which is normal, I would still highly recommend it; plus if you’re looking for a Fall palette that you can also use all year round, then this is your baby right here! The price is right, you can’t beat having 35 shades at this price, and the pans are reasonably sized. You really can’t go wrong with this product. If you’ve been thinking about getting it, GO FOR IT! It will not disappoint! Morphe 35O2 is the way to go my friends!
Video Time! lol
And now, without further ado, here’s the video I filmed for the look. Please forgive my rookie video editing skills and my awkwardness, I’m just weird on video lol, but I’m trying to break out of that. I hope you enjoy the video. Oh and of course, I used all of my favorite brushes to create the look!
Ok loves, this is all I have for you today. I hope you liked and found this review helpful. Feel free to share it with your friends!
