Hi everyone!!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Is everybody ready for Thanksgiving!? Wow, I can’t believe how fast time is going!! I’m sure everyone is getting their wish lists together for the holidays lol. Speaking of holidays and wish lists-ladies and gents, I have another palette review. And if you have this on your wish list, then you’re in luck because you might some answers here! Am I the only one that feels like an eyeshadow palette hoarder lol? Why am I like this!? Anyhow, recently I bought the Colourpop You Had Me at Hello palette and of course I wanted to review it for you guys!
Colourpop is killing it!! Let’s jump right in!
The palette has twelve shades, six metallics, and six mattes. There is so much pigment in most these! Some of the shades are a bit patchy, but definitely not something that would deter me from using it. Also, they are very blendable, even the shades I found were a bit patchy were easy to blend and it looked great on the eyes. Price wise, Colourpop is very affordable, $18 dollars! Noteworthy, an added bonus, it has a mirror!
Here are the swatches for all twelve shades. Some of the shades are more pigmented and less patchy than others, but they blend like a dream on the eyes. I pretty much dipped into almost all the mattes and they ended up looking very nice. The shades I used had quite some fallout and the pans seemed to move around every time I dipped my brushes in them. Oh and I know I mentioned this before, swatching is not my strong suit lol, please bear with me.
Guys, I tried doing a little video for you so you can see that the shadows are actually very good to work with. However, I didn’t realize I was out of shot a lot until after I filmed the video lol. I am a rookie at this video filming so bear with me, I’m a work in progress. Enjoy!
Ok my loves, this is all I have for you today. I hope that you liked and found this review helpful. Feel free to share this post with your friends!
Have any of you tried this palette yet? Or are you thinking about getting it? Do you like the brand Colourpop? Share in the comments, I love hearing from you!
